SMALTOXYL TEAK OIL - PROTECTIVE OIL FOR TEAK & EXOTIC WOODS - VECHRO PAINTS

Clear protective and decorative oil combined with waterproofing wax for hardwood maintenance, such as teak, mahogany, iroko, exotic woods.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS: SMALTOXYL TEAK OIL by VECHRO PAINTS is special modified oil combined with water repellant wax used for the maintaining and refreshing of hard woods like TEAK, mahogany, iroko and other exotic woods. It replaces lost natural oils of hard woods due to weathering and protects from water, sunlight, salts, stains and greases. Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. Ideal for garden furniture and decks from hard woods. Very good brush ability and leveling. It penetrates and does not develop film. The product does not contain biocides.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Specific gravity: 0,80-0,82 kg/lt 

Covering Power: 15-17 m²/lt per coat, in already well-primed surface

Dilution: Ready for use 

Drying: Dry to touch in 3 – 4 hours. Recoatability 6-8 hours after application or after first layer’s hardening. Those times will be pro longed in cold and wet weather conditions

VOC Class: “Interior and exterior minimal build wood stains.” Type SB. VOC limit =700gr/lt. Max VOC of product ready for use= 550 gr/lt. It fulfills the requirements of E.C. legislation after 2011. VOC: organic volatile compounds with boiling point < 250°C.

Color shades: Transparent- Colorless

SURFACE PREPARATION: Clean the surface of dust, oil, cropped varnishes etc. Sandpaper well and remove dust.

APPLICATION: Stir well before use. Apply 1-2 coats SMALTOXYL TEAK OIL. In old non maintained woods apply one more coat. Remove the excess mate rial after 5 minutes from application. For the best maintenance of hard woods apply once a year.

STORAGE: Close well after use. Store in a cool place. Protect from freezing and sun exposure.
