PERKOLEUM MULTIPRIMER ADHESION & RUST PREVENTION PRIMER

The adhesion primer PERKOLEUM MULTIPRIMER by P.K. KOOPMANS protects against rust for indoor and outdoor use, based on special alkyd resins. It is rich in solvents.

Application: As a bonding and rust prevention primer on steel, such as on cars and ships, but also on objects in and around the house made of plastic and galvanized steel.

Coverage: approx. 7 - 12 m2/l., Mix well before use.

Instructions for use:
Thoroughly remove any rust and, if necessary, pre-treat with PERKOLEUM ROESTFIXEER. The surface must be dry and free of grease. Clean worn galvanized steel with PC CLEANER NS 90 and sand it after drying. Remove grease from freshly galvanized steel or aluminum and sand it until it becomes matt. Apply at least 2 coats of PERKOLEUM MULTIPRIMER to bare steel externally. It can be painted again after 2-3 hours. When processing plastics, remove grease thoroughly, sand the surface until it becomes matt and first carry out a test to assess adhesion. Treat once with PERKOLEUM MULTIPRIMER.

Then prime and apply a topcoat as indicated above. Apply by brush or roller. Preferably undiluted, ready to clean with turpentine. Then apply primer and topcoat as indicated above. Apply by brush or roller. Preferably undiluted, clean tools with turpentine.
