BARNIZ HIDROFUGANTE - WATERPROOFING VARNISH FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL USE - IRIS COLOR
Water-repellent and breathable varnish that revives the surface with a light and elegant satin appearance.
Description: Solvent-based penetrating colourless primer with polysiloxane that gives a water-repellent effect.
Recommended uses: Specially recommended for moisture-proofing of façades and exterior walls. Adequate to waterproof stone, cement, tiles, hollow bricks, fibre cement sheets, and in general any porous construction. It is used to protect walls from frost, rain, etc. creating a barrier that allows walls breath to the outside and at the same time it waterproofs from the outside to the inside.

Technical Characteristics
Main component: Polysiloxane and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Appearance: Invisible.
Paint thinner: Ready-to-use product. Do not dilute.
Specific weight: 0,800 + 0,05 Kg/l
Colour: Colourless.
Drying: 1 hours to 20ºC.
Repainting: Minimum 24 hours.
Efficiency: 0,4 m²/l - 4,0 m²/l
APPLICATION:
Surface preparation: On cement or concrete, if the surface is new, it is advisable to wait a minimum of 28 days to make sure the total curing of the concrete or cement. Afterwards, it will be washed with a solution with hydrochloric acid in 10 % of water, and cleared with water. Let it dry.
In any case, the surface must be clean and without dust, grease or any other material that may affect the adhesion between the pavement and the paint.
Instructions for use: Stir the content until it is uniform. Mix all components according to the specified proportion until it is uniform. It can be applied with brush, roller, pulverization or immersion. It is advisable to apply a thick coat on the surface and afterwards a second coat when the first one is absorbed, but without waiting for the first one to be dry (moist over moist). Before applying the product, all windows, crystals, etc. and all those surfaces that are not absorbent must be covered, since the product dries quickly and once it is dry, it is impossible to remove stains.
Never apply under 5ºC or above 35ºC, or with possible rain, high humidity, frost, dew, etc.
Stability and preservation in the container:
Preserve in a well-closed container, under cover and in a temperature between 5-30 ºC.
The shelf life of the product in its original container and without opening is one year.
Safety and Environment:
Special safety measures are not required since it is a product with a solvent base, except for the usual ones. Do not eat. Keep open containers away from children. Keep a good ventilation in case of an indoors application. For more information, see the safety datasheet of the product.
