SMALTOXYL HYDRO PRESERVATIVE - IMPREGNATION WATER WOOD PRESERVATIVE - VECHRO PAINTS

VECHRO SMALTOXYL HYDRO is a water-soluble preservative suitable for any wooden surface. It penetrates deeply and protects against septic fungi and fungi that cause blue spots. Thus, protects from wood-eating insects. Available in colorless and 10 ready-made shades.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS: SMALTOXYL HYDRO preservative is water based and low odor pre servative for indoor and outdoor use. It has excellent penetra tion properties and protects against wood rotting fungi (decay fungi) and wood disfiguring fungi (blue stain, sap stain and molds). Thus, protects from wood-eating instects. Maintains its elasticity following wood’s attitude.

Covering power: 15 -17 m²/lt per layer

Dilution: Ready for use

Drying: 1 - 2 hours touch free.

Recoatability: Recoatable in 4-6 hours after application. These times prolong under cold and wet weather conditions.

VOC class: Α. “Interior and exterior minimal build woodstains.” Type WB. VOC limit =130 gr/lt. Β. «Βinding primers' (coatings designed to impart hydrophobic properties and/or to protect wood against blue stain) » Type WB. VOC limit = 30 gr/lt. Max VOC of product ready for use = 20 gr/lt. VOC: organic vola tile compounds with boiling point < 250ºC.

Adhesion: Adhesion test, rating 1 (ΙSO 2409).

Guaranteed composition: 0,62% w/v IPBC & 1,25% w/v Propiconazole.

Dosage: 115 - 135 ml/m² in two coats.

Shades: Colorless and ready-made shades.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove grease, oil, unsound existing paint, dumbness, dust and then clean thoroughly. Sandpaper well.

APPLICATION: Stir well. Apply one or two coats Smaltoxyl hydro Preservative if needed on dry and absolutely clean surfaces. Apply always on the direction of wood grains. Soft sanding in between two coats is proposed always on the direction of wood grains. For better protection apply a suitable finish paint like Smaltoxyl hydro varnish, Smaltoxyl yacht varnish or Smaltoxyl Deco.

STORAGE: Store in a cool place, protect from freezing and sun exposure. Close the can well after application to keep in good condition. Recover unused paint for re-use. Reuse of paint can effectively minimize the product’s life cycle environmental impact.
