AQUA COMBI - CLOU LACQUER - GLAZE FOR WOOD - COLORED WATER VARNISH FOR FURNITURE & INTERIOR USE

Characteristics: Non-drip, low-odour, water-based lacquer-glaze. Produces a quick-drying, robust, light-fast, satin matt translucent coating, which emphasizes the natural wood grain. The treated surfaces are easy to look after, alcohol-resistant and also water and dirt-repellent.VOC Decopaint conform.

Recommended use: For the protection and decorative finishing of untreated wood indoors, such as panels, boarding, doors, windows, furniture and toys.

Cleaning: Immediately after use clean all tools thoroughly in water.

Storage/Disposal: Store in well sealed original containers in a cool place protected from frost. Varnish residues varnish must undergo special treatment and must be consigned to those authorized companies that collect special waste. Recommended waste code according to the European waste directory: 08 01 12 (the final determination must be coordinated through the regional waste utility). Dried lacquer residues can be disposed of in the normal household rubbish. Can be stored for at least 2 years in original sealed containers.

Safety Instructions: Do not drain into the groundwater or sewage system.
Even when working with less harmful lacquers, the usual proctective measures should be taken.

Preparation: The untreated wood surfaces must be free from dust, oil, grease, wax and any other impurities. Sand with 180-240 sand paper and carefully remove dust.

Using/Application: (Surface temperature > 15 °C, wood moisture 8–12 %)
Shake or stir well before use. Use a soft flat brush of the type for water-based varnishes. 

Untreated wood indoors: Apply lacquer-glaze without excessive pressure evenly and not too richly along the wood grain. Spread surplus evenly. Allow to dry. Sand again with 240 sandpaper, remove dust, then apply a second coat. If necessary, dilute with approx. 5% water. Do not dilute with solvents.

Renovation: Thoroughly sand down flaky or damaged coats. Carefully clean remaining coats, lightly sand, remove dust, then apply 1-2 coats of lacquer glaze. Sand inbetween the two coats with 240 sandpaper. After finishing the work immediatey clean the brushes in water.
