AQUA CLOU WAX-GLAZE (WACHSLASUR) W11

Characteristics: Low odor, non-drip living room glaze. Produces a quick-drying, transparent-colored, hard-wearing, light-resistant, velvety, non-slip coat. Mixed with polishable special waxes. The treated surfaces are easy to care for, resistant to drinking alcohol, water and dirt-repellent as well as saliva and sweat-resistant according to DIN 53160 and comply with DIN EN 71, Part 3

(safety of toys).

EU limit value for the product (Cat. A/e): 130 g/l (2010). This product contains a maximum of 50 g/l VOC, preservatives based on isothiazolones.

Recommended use: For the protective and decorative coating of natural wooden objects indoors such as panels, doors, furniture and toys.

Shake the container before use. Use a brush for water-based lacquers.

Color chart: AQUA CLOU WACHSLASUR W11 natural wax is available in 4 natural wood colors:

N.2 brown-red (rotbraun)

N.3 dark brown (dunkelbraun)

N.4 reed (schilf)

N.5 white/transparent (weiß/transparent)

Storage: Store dry and cool. Protect from frost. Shelf life in the originally sealed container at least 2 years. Close opened containers tightly after removal.

Disposal: Only empty containers for recycling. Dispose of liquid material residues at a collection point for old paint (EAK no. 08 01 12).

Water hazard class: WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)

Warnings: The usual protective measures must also be observed when processing low-emission products. Keep out of the reach of children. Wear suitable protective clothing. Ensure thorough ventilation during processing and drying. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not allow to enter drains, surface water or ground water. Preparation: The wood surface to be treated must be clean, dry and free of grease and dust. Sand surfaces smooth with 220 grit and thoroughly remove dust.

Processing: (Object temperature > 15 °C, wood moisture content 8-12%)
Shake well before use. Spread the liquid wax in the direction of the wood grain and apply with a soft water-based paint brush evenly and quickly in the direction of the wood grain. For a better quality surface, after drying, lightly roughen with 320 grit, dust and apply 2nd coat.

Yield: 1 liter is sufficient for approx. 12 m² of untreated wood.

Drying: (at 20 °C and 50 % relative humidity)
AQUA CLOU WACHSLASUR W11 natural wax is dust-dry after a drying time of 20 minutes, touch-dry after 2-3 hours and can be painted over after drying overnight. Ensure good ventilation during processing and drying.

Cleaning of tools: Clean the equipment with pure water or CLOU universal paint solvent immediately after processing.
