CLOU NATURAL WOOD WAX (HOLZWACHS)
Characteristics: Brings out the structure and grain of the wood. Subsequent polishing produces a beautiful lustre with a special smoothness. Has a water-repellent and moistureregulating effect. Resists household cleansers. The dried coat complies with DIN EN 71, part 3 (safety of toys), and DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat resistance), and DIN 68861- 1C (exposure to chemicals).
Areas of Application: For decorative treatment of untreated wood and for maintaining waxed surfaces in indoor areas, such as furniture, shelves, wall and ceiling cladding, or toys. Unsuitable for floors.
Storage: Store dry and cool. Protect from frost. Shelf life in the originally sealed container at least 5 years. Close opened containers tightly after removal.
Disposal: Disposal: Only give empty containers for recycling. Dispose of liquid material residues at a collection point for old paint (EAK no. 08 01 11).
Water hazard class: WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water)
Preparation: The wood surface must be clean, dry and free of oil and grease. Sand with 200 / 240 grit and remove dust thoroughly.
Processing: (Surface temperature > 15 °C, residual moisture 8 – 12 %)
Shake CLOU Wood Wax well before use. Do not use under 15 °C. Apply thinly and uniformly using a soft brush or cotton cloth in the direction of the wood structure. In cases of very absorbent substrates a second coat is necessary. Do this after allowing to dry and sanding with 240 / 280 grit.
Coverage: 1 liter is sufficient for approx. 10 m2 per coat.
Drying: (at 20 °C and 50 % relative humidity)
Recoatable after 8-12 hours. Ensure good ventilation during processing and drying.
Color chart: HOLZWACHS CLOU natural wax is available in white/transparent color.
Complies with DIN 68861-1C (chemical stress) and the requirements of § 35 of the Food and Consumer Goods Act (formerly DIN 53160, resistant to saliva and perspiration).
Safety precautions: Even when working with low-polluting products the usual safety measures should be complied with. Store out of the reach of children. Wear suitable protective clothing. Ensure there is a good supply of air during work and drying. If product comes in contact with the eyes or skin, wash thoroughly with water immediately. Do not allow product to find its way into the sewage system, surface waters, or groundwater. Please refer to the safety data sheet for more information.

Special Instructions: Oil-soaked cloths can potentially ignite spontaneously. For this reason, soak them with water after use and spread them out to dry in the open. The product itself cannot ignite spontaneously.
