CLOU ANTIQUE-WAX PASTE FOR WOODEN FURNITURE

Properties: ANTIK-WACHS by CLOU is a low odor wax made from natural beeswax and carnauba wax. Protects and cares for wooden surfaces on a natural basis. Creates naturally shiny, non-slip surfaces with a silky sheen. Treated surfaces comply with DIN EN 71, Part 3 (toy safety) and DIN 53160 (resistance to saliva and sweat).

Areas of Application: For the upgrading and restoration of wooden furniture. Cleans already waxed surfaces. Particularly suitable for preserving the value of items such as antiques. Ideal for interior furniture, doors, wall and ceiling coverings, carvings, picture frames, etc.

Preparation: The wooden surface to be treated must be clean, dry and free of grease.

Instructions for use: (Object temperature > 15 °C, wood moisture content 8–12%)
With a soft cloth, apply a small amount of paste to the wooden surface you want to preserve. Allow to dry overnight with good ventilation and then with another cloth or brush rub the surface vigorously to a shine. Repeat for highly absorbent wood. Applying it twice results in a fuller wax film.

Yield: 1 liter is enough for about 18 m2 per layer.

Drying: (at 20 °C and 50% relative humidity). Leave to dry overnight with good ventilation.

After use: Clean tools used with CLOU EV solvent immediately after use. Dispose of cleaning residues properly. Ensure good ventilation during processing and drying.

Storage: Store in a dry and cool place. Protect it from frost. The shelf life in the original sealed container is at least 5 years. Close opened containers tightly after removal.

Disposal: Only empty containers for recycling. Dispose of the remains of liquid materials at a collection point for old used paints (EAK no: 07 06 08).
