CLOU WOOD FILLER (HOLZPASTE)

Suitable for repairing significant defects in wood. Also with concealed screw and nail holes the resulting cavities can be filled and the surface levelled.

CLOU WOOD FILLER (HOLZPASTE) is resilient and therefore suitable for parquet flooring. The hardened Wood Filler can be sanded, Planed, filed, sawn and drilled.

Storage: Store in well-sealed original containers in a cool place protected from frost.

Disposal: Recommended waste code according to the European Waste Directory: 08 01 12 (the final commitment must be made in coordination with the regional waste utility). Dried wood paste can be disposed of as household waste.

Safety precautions: Even when working with low-polluting products the usual safety measures should be complied with. Store out of the reach of children. Wear suitable protective clothing. Do not allow product to find its way into the sewage system, surface waters, or groundwater. Please refer to the safety data sheet for more information.

Preparation: The places to be touched up must be clean, dry, and free of grease, wax, and resin. Thoroughly remove any poorly adhering coats of paint. Lightly sand the substrate with a 150 / 180 grit.

Processing: All untreated, stained, glazed and clear-painted as well as all stripped wood substrates are suitable. Slightly moisten the damaged surface with water and fill in with Wood Filler. Force the Wood Filler strongly into the damaged surface, fill in well, and smooth out seamlessly. Use moistened putty knife to smooth out the touched up area. For wood that has already been stained, glazed or painted wipe off all overlapping areas of applied filler in such a way that only the actual “filling” remains. In cases of larger depressions, fill them several times with a thin layer and allow each layer to dry well to avoid cracks and shrinking (edges that release). Seal the can well after use. Dried Wood Filler becomes pliant again after adding a little water.
