CLOU HOLZSCHUTZ GRUNDIERUNG - WOOD PROTECTION UNDERCOAT

Characteristics: Colourless, solvent-containing undercoat with preventive effect against blue stain, mildew and fungal rot, and also wood vermin (insects).

Areas of Application: For protection of statically non-exposed wood without earth contact outdoors. Suitable for all kings of wood (doors, windows, shutters, panelling) that is to be further coated with coloured glazes, varnishes or paints.
Restrictions on application: should not be used on wood whose intended use involves being in direct contact with food or animal feed.

Cleaning: Clean all tools immediately after use with CLOU Cleaning Thinner, CLOURETHAN-Thinner, CLOU EV-Thinner, petroleum spirit or white spirit.

Storage/Disposal: Store only in original containers in a cool place.
Dispose of completely empty tins at the local rubbish collection. Not completely empty tins as well as cleaning residues should be properly disposed of (special waste collecting point; waste code number 030202 according to the European waste code).
Can be stored for 5 years in the original sealed container.

Additional information: Active ingredients: 0.60% (4.86 g/l) propiconazole, 0.06% (0.50 g/l) permethrin (ISO) and 0.30% (2.45 g/l) IPBC, BAuAnr. N-64054.

Safety Instructions: Wood preservative agents contain biocide active substances to protect wood against pests. The agents have to be used according to the instructions for use and in authorized areas of application only. Misuse can lead to health and environmental damage. Wear protective gloves and glasses. Poisonous for fish and fish-eating animals. Not to be used directly near water sources. The product and any wood treated with it should not come into contact with water sources.

Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Do not empty into drains. If swallowed do not induce vomiting.
Water hazard class: WGK2 (water endangering).

Pretreatment: The substrate must be dry wood moisture 8-12%) and
free from oil, grease, wax, sanding dust and other
impurities.

Processing/Application
Processing conditions:
Material-, Untergrund- und Umgebungstemperatur dürfen
nicht unter 15 °C liegen.
Evenly apply the Wood Protection Undercoat with a soft
brush. On absorbent wood types one coat is sufficient but
take care to apply enough. Allow to dry well before
continuing subsequent processing.

Drying: After 24 hours the surface can be overcoated with glaze,
varnish or paint.

Special advice: Do not use on wood that is intended to come into direct
contact with food or animal feed. Use biocides with precaution. Before use always read the labelling and product information.
