NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM -WATER REPELLENT PAINT SYSTEM FOR EXTERIOR USE (NEW & TREATED WOOD).

Properties: NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM by NELF is an opaque, low-solubility, water-repellent, durable, satin finish paint system that regulates humidity. It is applied as a primer, undercoat and topcoat on new and previously treated wood for exterior use. Suitable for less uniform surfaces. Base: Specially modified alkyd resins. Texture: Satin. Coverage: 12-14 m² per liter. Application: Brush / Roller. Recoating: Once dry, can be recoated after approximately 24 hours. Thinning: The product is ready to use, preferably undiluted. Stir well before use. Do not process at temperatures < 5°C and relative humidity > 85%. Cleaning tools: Clean immediately after use with turpentine (unscented). Shelf life: in closed original packaging and stored frost-free for at least 12 months.

Instructions for use: The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease.

a) Surface preparation: New, untreated wood: Sand new wood thoroughly. After applying NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM as a primer, sand again with fine sandpaper P280-P320.
Paint system: Clean and degrease with a general purpose cleaner and sand. Apply together with the first coat of NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM used as a primer, a total of three (3) coats every 24 hours applying the water-repellent NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM paint system.

b) Surface Preparation: Existing, Treated Wood: Clean any grease with a general purpose cleaner. Sand existing paint coats thoroughly with fine grit P280-P320 sandpaper. Remove loose, cracked or peeling paint coats. Sand the areas between existing paint coats and bare surface as much as possible. Treat bare surfaces as new wood.

Paint System: Remove any defective paint coats. Apply together with the first coat of NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM used as a primer, a total of three (3) coats every 24 hours applying the NELFALITE XTREME SYSTEM water repellent paint system.

Store in a well-ventilated place.
